One, Two, Three...Smile!
We couldn't pass up an opportunity to get a family shot with all of us in town. These are some happy, happy kids to be hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
A Princess is Coming
For those of you who do not know, my older brother Jason and his wife Sarah are expecting a little girl this summer. What could be more exciting than planning a special party to welcome the family's newest little princess? Not much, if you ask Kaitlyn! We had so much fun planning a fairy-tale themed shower...and Sarah was such a good sport with playing along. This is going to be one lucky baby girl!
Thank you to everyone who made this such a special day for Jason and Sarah...and for Kaitlyn, Claire, and me, too. We cannot wait to welcome little "Sprout" to the family!

Good Friends, Good Moms
It was so exciting to see some of my favorite people this past weekend in Canfield. My high school friend Wendy is expecting her first baby, and so I got to see a lot of friends from way back when who were in town to celebrate, including my Chicago soulmate Marie!
Beautiful and beaming, Wendy makes being pregnant look easy (but I know better! :) I cannot wait to meet her little one this summer!

Happy Mother's Day
I had a lovely Mother's Day, complete with a homemade cheesecake and a feast of snow crab, clams and shrimp. Matt really knows how to make a girl happy...and her mom, too!
We had a great week with Grandma and Grandpa Kneen in town. There were lots of stories to read, popsicles to eat on the deck, and walks to take with Gracie dog. It was too stormy and wet to go out adventuring much, but we made our own adventures at home! And we ate very, very well for a whole week!
