It's 8:56 p.m., and I'm TIRED! I intended to write about how much fun we had with Grandpa Hartings, two Halloween parties, and trick-or-treating, but I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves this evening!

A Blessing

This weekend was Jack's baptism. It was a beautiful weekend: the weather was perfect, the ceremony was small and intimate, and the boy of honor was calm as could be as he received his first holy sacrament. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the weekend.

A Miracle

I've tried and tried, but this is the first time I've gotten a photo with all three kids looking at the camera...and two of them even smiling on command!

Preschool Prep

Today wasn't really Kaitlyn's first day of preschool; that will be next Wednesday. But today she went with me to see her classroom and meet her teachers and classmates for the first time. She was VERY EXCITED!

She was all smiles as she took in all of the toys and other kids, and she did really well with engaging with her classmates rather than with me. I think she will be just fine next week when I leave her at the door (but only time will tell!) We already made friends and exchanged information with Owen and his mom, Julia. I think I will really like preschool, too!!
