First Day of Kindergarten

Kaitlyn is officially a kindergartner! Matt was kind enough to stay home on her first day...not to make sure that she was okay, but to make sure that I was okay!

Kaitlyn bounded right up the steps of the school bus without looking back, which was a good thing, as both Jack and I had tears in our eyes. It's a long school day for a five-year-old, but so far, she's loving it. She comes home every day and shares what's in her backpack as she gives us a full report of her day. Mostly we hear about the lunch line, even though she usually packs. We'll see what she thinks once she starts getting homework!
