...can lead to three weeks in a cast! We weren't out in our two inches of snow for more than five minutes before Claire took a bad turn into the fence. The ER sent her home with an ace bandage, but the orthopedic surgeon we saw two days later had her in a hip-to-toe cast in mere minutes!
It took about two days (and a morning at preschool) for Claire to get the hang of her new, blue accessory. Two weeks later, she's walking at a pretty good clip and scaling stairs like a pro. If only the flu hadn't swooped in to slow her down!
